So how long ago EXACTLY did I start this BLOG? (and did pretty much NOTHING with it!)
So this was the summer of 2009 in Cambridge with the band!! consisting of (LEFT TO RIGHT) Me (Bry Carling [bass], Ivan Scanlon-Carling (my brother) [guitar], Nick Barraclough [guitar] and John Wilson [Drums]... a great reunion of our 1963 boy band "THE SWINGING VIBROS."

Just giving this a try
I was impressed with some of the other excellent ham radio blogs and the articles people are posting on them. I have decided to try to find time to give this a try myself.
I am interested for a variety of reasons. 1) Blogging seems to still be all the rage
2) I have been getting more active on the ham bands and I admire the enthusiasm of my fellow ham operators - particularly the brave QRP guys and experimenters.
3) I peddle quite a few crystals and I want to know what everyone is doing with them!
It;s really fun when I run into one of the guys on the air who is using crystals that he bought from me.
